The feud, crisis and rifts in the Okoye's dynasty started two years back when Jude, the elder brother and Manager of the legend twin brothers 'Psquare refused to accept Peter's choice of wife. He insisted that Peter shouldn't marry Lola Omotayo, an ex-beauty queen and to prove his point, Jude didn't attend the epic wedding. Peter Okoye reciprocated by not attending Jude's traditional wedding too, he posted a picture of his on flight while Jude wedding was going on.
The signing of Cynthia Morgan to their record label generated more rifts before Jude finally accepted the signing.
That year (2015) Peter took to the public by twitting personal issues:
he wrote:
“I have come to you several times to resolve issues between us and with some family and friends but what happen? #whereYouBelong.
On the 4th of Jan dis yr I came to you and told your friend to excuse us I need to talk to you and u insisted that your friend must be around...2013
I told Jude his no longer needed as our manager he agrees only for u to come to me that if he is not our manager then we should split!

The Okoye have pretended for over two years that all is well not until 16th February, 2016 when Peter finally came online to declare that Jude has been officially fired.
Peter who along with his twin brother, Paul, make up PSquare, tried to explain his decision to not only axe his brother, but to do so on the social media.

There have been conflicting stories about the relationship between the brothers for a while and until now they have been able to paper over the cracks. Acknowledging that fans have been concerned about the group for a while, Peter explained that he had no problem with Paul and did not expect the ongoing conflict to affect the group. His problem is the management.

Probably realising that some would point out that Jude was family and not just a manager, he was quick to cite other artists that have fired family members as their managers.

While he did not give clear details of the feud that resulted in his outburst, his tweets suggested that the group was not being properly managed and that Jude was insistent on staying on as manager. He also hinted that he had tried over the years to prevent things from getting to this point. Jude was the reason why some artiste has left 'NorthEast Inc' recording label, like Mr. MayD.

The outburst sent some fans into panic mode with some appealing that the dispute be resolved internally, but Peter would have none of such talk.

Cynthia Morgan is rumoured to be pregnant, and insider alleged that Jude Okoye is the expected father of Cynthia's baby to be. The news might be connected to the recent outburst of Peter Okoye's anger and firing of their brother/manager.
Jude has in the past hindered the group of having other artiste to successfully be with 'NorthEast' label.
