Super Model Brenda Micheal speaks on modeling and Percieved Immoralities

Brenda Michael, one of the top super models from Northern part of Nigeria spoke on the perceived immoral conducts in the modeling industry.

Brenda Michael is a native of Kajuru in Kaduna State, born in Lagos State 19 years ago but had her teen and youth growth in Kaduna State. She is a 5.10 footer with 34-25-34: burst, waist and hips statistics respectively.

MODELS AND IMMORALITIES

 Speaking during a live radio interview on Liberty FM with MorpheusRhymz STARBUST programme, Brenda Michael enlightened non models during the radio programme on the issue of immorality and modeling. “ I think lots of people judge our books by the cover, its like saying James Hardly Chase write ups are pornographic base on the fact that the cover of his books are ladies on bikinis carrying guns. What people do not understand is that moral expectations from every professional model are very very high, unlike the other actresses and artistes. “  she further explained that  “ when a model is living a reckless lifestyle, the product that she is displaying be it cloths or other products won’t be respected. No fashion designer will have a model who has bad reputation to wear their cloth during a fashion show. Also, no company will allow a model with known immoral character to be used as a face for their products. You hardly hear of models divorcing or having bad reputation in their marital homes and stil have jobs. Let me use this example, if a famous artiste, actor or model has baby mama issues, can such a person be used for condom advert? So I encourage all upcoming and intending models not to be deceived by the wrong perceptions that models are corrupt and immoral, yes there is fun in modeling but that’s because it’s an entertainment industry.”

FASHION IN THE NORTH

Similarly, Brenda Michael is seeking for more fashion shows in the Northern part of Nigeria, this she made public on another radio interview on KSMC 90.9FM with Ai. Brenda Michael is of the opinion that there are so many great fashion designers in the Northern part of Nigeria with wow and creative African styled fashion designs but exposure keeps them unknown.

EDUCATION/MODELING

Brenda Michael is awaiting admission to a tertiary institution but she believes that through hard work and proper planning, modeling shouldn’t affect her studies also education shouldn’t stop her from her chosen profession.
