WHAT’S
F.O.A ALL ABOUT: Face of Agriculture
is a beauty pageant aimed at grooming youths and teenagers into agriculture
production. It’s a project that is targeted at attracting young ones to farming
via entertainment. In other to diversify the Nigerian economy from the over
dependence on crude oil, different positive strategies must be used by both the
government and the general public. In this wise, Team Goldmine conceptualized
the medium of pageantry as a gateway for youth empowerment in the agricultural
sector.
WHAT IS
H2I USER NAME ON THE FORM: you should ignore it. And any other columns on
the form that you don’t have answers to.
WHERE
WILL BE THE FINALS: The 2017 is the first edition of Face of Agriculture
and the grand finale will hold in Abuja.
WILL
THERE BE A CAMP: yes, there will be a six days camp before the finals, this
is aimed at grooming the finalist and inducting them into the core objectivity of
the project.

MUST I BE
A FARMER BEFORE I CAN PARTICIPATE: No, you mustn’t be a farmer before participating;
however you must have interest in agricultural sector.

WHAT IS
THE AGE LIMIT FOR PARTICIPATION: 17 to 25 years

CAN MALE
MODELS PARTICIPATE: No, the pageant is opened to only female contestants. Agric
sector is predominantly male and so it is expected that the crowned queens will
be fully assisted by male counterparts as they execute their official duties.

WHY IS
THE FORM SOLD AND NOT FREE: this is a norm in the pageant industry worldwide.
It helps to checkmate uninterested participants and also to help raise fund for
logistics.

HOW MANY
QUEENS WILL BE CROWNED: there will be the main queen, 6 geo-regional queens
and 36 + Abuja queens. However, only the 6 geo-regional queens and the over-all
queen ( Miss Face of Agriculture) will be decorated at the grand finale.
