Who is Pherowshuz?
Am a rapper born in sokoto raised in Kd, though my family still resides in Kd, like I always say "music raise me but Kd raised me". Am into sound production and other SMA's, as an entrepreneur, I see doors and not a door in my huzzle world.
Music Expectations?
Yeah, i dropped a mixed tape late last year, December to be precise, the mixed tape is downloadable at now and its titled 'I Am Pherow' tape. We have great artiste on the album tracks, De Suspect, Sound Sultan, and co. We still working on the video and hopefully it will be released before the album launch.
Artiste Beefs
We are human, we cross each others path once in a while, when I hear beef growing up it was musical, more of healthy competition, but now that we have Social Media I think it has lost the entertaining value, as an artiste you don't need to get into such stuffs. These days fans are actually eager to see artiste shading, dissing or practically fighting one another, fans enjoy it but trust me it does more harm to the growth of the industry more than it entertains.
On Psquare vs Soundcity?
Psquare has a good fight trust me, but unfortunately they kinda take it the wrong way, to have singled out SoundCity was a goof.
Baby Mama?
Wow, hmmmm, I am not condemning anyone who believes in it, its your prerogative if you so wish to settle for the norm, but as for me i think I will try and 'ring' the lady before the baby. I have kept a clean slate for now and I will try to keep it up till the right time and mo. Right now am single, huzzling and married to my music.
Business?
Am into audio production, branding and a couple of ideas that will soon materialize.
Nigeria music?
A lot of people shades artiste and same people will refuse to buy R&B CDs. Which is worst, the person picking an ashawo or the ashawo? In entertainment, fans always dictate what should trend. There was a time in Nigeria that Makosa sound was the trend, it was funny then because despite the fact that we don't understand nor speak French, a party was not complete if a DJ hasnt slot in Makosa sound. I always tell people, as a consumer of music you should know the type of music you want to stick to.
