Leaders of the All Progressives Congress from Kogi East have denied endorsing Gowon Usman Egbunu as Deputy Governor to Governor. Yahaya Bello.The leaders said the purported endorsement was forged.
They said they were never part of it as claimed and that the said Egbunu was a strange name in the politics of Kogi East. They insisted that the purported endorsement was not a part of the resolution of the meeting of the Kogi East caucus.
The leaders said they have confidence in Bello to determine whomever he wishes to work with as Deputy Governor. Campaign coordinators of Bello in Kogi East had on Monday claimed that the leaders had endorsed Egbunu for the deputy governorship slot.
