More than any other competition, the Champions League is the highlight of the club calendar. Football fans can begin salivating over the big fixtures once again with the Champions League group stage draw on August 25.
On Thursday the groups for the new season will be drawn. Leicester City are making their debut in Europe's elite club competition, while Manchester City assured their entry with a dominant victory against Steaua Bucharest in the play-offs. They are joined by Arsenal and Tottenham from England.

Draw notes
- No team can play a club from their own association, with the exact draw procedure to be confirmed before the ceremony.
- Following a decision by the UEFA Executive Committee, Ukrainian and Russian teams cannot be drawn against each other.
- The draw also establishes the groups for the UEFA Champions League path of the UEFA Youth League.
- The draw ceremony includes the vote for and presentation of the 2015/16 UEFA Best Player in Europe Awards for men and women.
